Ready to ride (and walk) into the New Year!

On Christmas Day, Landon took more steps alone than he ever has! It was the best present we could receive! He's making quick progress and seems to have more determination to try! We had a wonderful Christmas with our families and Landon is set with some great new toys and other items! Here are a couple of them:

A new red tricycle from NiNi and G-Pa

A comfy new chair from MiMi and Grandy

Christmas Eve Eve

On this cool Christmas Eve Eve, we had a nice lazy day at home watching Christmas specials on T.V. and decorating cookies. We miss our favorite fellow decorators as this had become a fun tradition before they left (you know who you are).

Here are some of our final products! Yum!

On a different note, our sweet little boy is 15 months old today! He had his 15 mo. checkup yesterday and weighed in at a whopping 21 lbs. 2 oz. and was 30.5 inches tall. Our stubborn little toddler is right on the verge of walking on his own! He is making slow, but steady, progress! My mom reassured me that I shouldn't be concerned with our late walker, but informed me that I was just as stubborn as a child. :) Guess the apple doesn't fall far! Landon has proven that he CAN walk, he just doesn't choose to most of the time! We keep showing him cousin Caedmon's video for motivation!

North Park Adventure

We took advantage of Aaron's day off and went out to North Park Mall so Landon could see the trains. Of course, my thought was, it's a Wednesday morning, surely it won't be too crowded, right? Wrong! But, we had a great time anyway! Landon enjoyed walking around the mall and looking at all the trains. We finished up our outing with lunch at Corner Bakery with our good friend, Kristi, who met us from work! :)

Waiting for the train to come around.

Baby in a Box

Today, while playing on the floor, Landon got himself into his toy box that's in the living room.

And then he tried to get out...but wasn't quite as successful!
Wierd Landon Fact: Ever since Landon was just a few months old, he's had a fascination with the Proactiv commercial. These days, it doesn't matter where he is in the house, if he hears it come on, he will make a speedy crawl to the TV, watch the commercial and then move about his business. Does anyone else have children with any odd fascinations? Or is it just me?

LTM 2008 (-T)

For the past few years our families (Lott, Thompson, McGrew) have gotten together for a fall camping trip. It usually takes place in October since the weather is absolutely perfect. This year was no different. The weather was wonderful! Unfortunately, the 'T' part of our group could not be there, but we are already looking forward to LTM 2009! It's going to be F-U-N!
