Singin' in the Rain

The past couple of days have brought some very welcomed rain! This afternoon, Aaron grabbed an  umbrella and went outside to do something real quick. Landon promptly asked, "Where's Landon's umbrella?" Does anyone else have kids who talk in third person? A few weeks ago, I purchased him his first umbrella for $2.50 at Target (where else?). Since I wasn't sure when he might have another chance to use it, I let him get it out and play in the rain for a bit.

To Infinity & Beyond

This morning we took Landon to see his very first movie! Toy Story 3! I loved the first 2 Toy Story's and when I saw this was coming out, I knew I wanted it to be Landon's first time to go to the theater! The movie was complete with popcorn, fruit snacks and punch! Landon really seemed to enjoy it and surprised us with how well he did. He sat so still for the first half and even though he got a little more restless the second half and went back and forth between my lap and Aaron's, he still did an excellent job!

Interesting Lott Girl Movie Fact: For some reason (one that to this day I'm not sure of) my sister and I used to collect our movie stubs when we were kids. We did this for several years and I think I even continued it a little bit into college. Anyways, I have this little chest in which I keep little trinkets and special items I've collected over the years and I've run across these a few times as I've gone through my box. This picture doesn't do justice to the amount of stubs that are actually there. Some of the oldest movies I could find on the stubs are:

Beatin' the Heat

Many times Aaron and I will text pictures of the boys to each other when we're apart. While I was out with Landon one day and Reid and Daddy were home, I received this picture...

Sick Landon asleep in Mama's bed...I sent this one to Aaron while he was at work. It was a challenge to get him to actually fall asleep in my bed!

While Reid and I were running an errand I decided to try him out in the toddler car seat for the first time. I think he fits it well! He certainly has met the weight requirement!

This is Reid's first grocery cart car ride! I think he enjoyed it!

That evening while daddy was at bible study, the boys and I headed for a walk.

Then we cooled off with a Skinny Cow fudge bar! It was yumalicious!
