To My Wonderful Husband

Just because the baby wakes up from his nap and is really in need of a new diaper but is crying profusely for his afternoon bottle, DOES NOT mean you can rush through the re-dressing of his clothes after changing said diaper should you forget to snap his onesie until AFTER you've pulled up his shorts! For the love of fashion, just take the time to fix it! And no, it's really not that funny.
OK...Maybe it's a little funny! :)
{Look at those sweet sun-kissed cheeks. We spent the morning outside. This poor baby has his Mama's skin.}

The Outsiders

I've decided that if for some reason we were forced to live outside, all 3 of my boys would be perfectly fine with that! Now that the weather is warming up, Landon always asks to go outside! Reid also seems to have the outdoor-loving gene because he's not one to complain too much when we're out there! Here are a couple of our recent outdoor activities.
You may have noticed this on my sidebar the last few weeks. This was a 5K to help raise money for a team heading to Mozambique from our Life Group at church this summer. It turned out great and we had a blast! Click on the ad above for more information about Children's Relief International or to find out how you can donate! Reid was ready to run...well, he was ready to be pushed!
Landon and MiMi warming up!
We opted for the 1 mile fun run instead of the 5k. Landon started off strong by running a good bit, and then literally walked almost the whole mile! Morgan is running in front of him. I guess if you put a cute girl in front of you it helps with motivation! :)
Our serious little athlete
The wonderful team that planned the 5k!
Today, we broke out the bike trailer! This was Reid's first trip and he really seemed to enjoy it! Who wouldn't though? I was just glad I wasn't the one having to pull all that extra weight!

Seguin or Bust

This past week, our crew headed to the San Antonio area! The trip had two purposes. The first one was so Aaron could attend a training on Tuesday and Wednesday, the second was to spend time with family! We were able to stay with PaPa and Grandma Meg (who is now known as "Eg" thanks to Landon) in Seguin. Click HERE to read about our last visit. Technically, this was Reid's second trip to Seguin, but the first time he was much more quiet while traveling! :) We are so thankful we got to spend the week with them and we want to say a big THANK YOU for all the fun, great food, memories and hospitality! We hope to come back again very soon!! We love you Papa, Eg, Aunt Abby and Uncle Austin!
Reid's favorite place was in the swing on the porch! He was crazy about their two golden retrievers, Harley and Schuyler.

We went to the park and had a wonderful picnic. The weather was perfect! Landon and Eg.

He also loves dirt and rocks...

One day we were able to take the boys downtown to the SA Children's Museum and then meet Aaron for lunch.

Making a big bubble...
If you read the post from our last trip to Seguin this probably looks familiar! Landon never passes up the opportunity to push a shopping cart.

Another trip to the park. It was a windy day....can you tell?

For some reason, on this trip Reid started taking his pacifier. I've always carried it in his bag and attempted to use it when he's fussy, but he's never really cared for it! Don't know why, but now he loves it!
On our last night there, Aaron and I were able to get away and spend a few hours on the River Walk. Thank you to PaPa, Eg and Aunt Abby for taking care of the boys!

Fantabulous Friday

Friday was a very busy, but very fun day! The boys and I started off by picking up NiNi and heading to Dallas to pick up my good friend from college, Lisa, who drove in from Houston. Then, we all met up with some friends at the Zoo. The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed our time there. Here is Landon mapping out our day...

Landon Cam: Landon was holding my camera and snapped this picture of Andrew.
After getting home from the zoo, we rested for about an hour and then got ready for our next activity. We went to Potbelly's for dinner and then headed to the bookstore. Barnes and Noble was having a Pajama Reading Party with a special appearance by Clifford The Big Red Dog....they also served milk and cookies! It was a fun way to end our day! Here is Reid in his Mickey PJ's...
Of course Landon was decked out all in Elmo!
Landon's favorite was the train table at B&N.
Reid was overcome with joy at the new book I found for him...
Max came to the PJ party too! Landon is reading them a pre-show book.
The Look
Eating cookies! YUM! Landon's was super messy and my mom and I were so focused on him and the mess of chocolate he was making that we didn't even notice what Reid had found.
We turned around to find half of the strap to this lady's purse jammed in his mouth!
When Clifford came out, Landon was all sorts of excited about getting his picture taken with him!
Just kidding....this was the best we could do!
