This is how I found Landon when I checked on him during his nap today. I know there is supposed to be a bumper in the crib, but there was a regular fight between it and the mattress when it came time to change the sheet. Clearly, the bumper won and is now enjoying freedom from its duties. Besides, how would we get pictures like this if we still had the bumper in there?

Two quotes come to mind when I think about how Aaron fills his role as a father....

Aaron does this with such grace. I'm amazed at how patient and loving he is with me sometimes. God has blessed me with a man of great integrity and a gentle spirit. He has a self-less love for me and Landon (and Reid) that is shown daily through his actions. This brings me to the second quote.

Aaron is a man, father and husband of his word. His actions show his family his true commitment and love for them. Aaron demonstrates a Christ-like love to his family. He is not only Landon and Reid's father, but more importantly, he's their Daddy!

Who wouldn't be proud to be married to a man like that! I love you, Aaron, and I thank you for the way you take care of me and our boys. ~Haley

Belly Painting ~ Part II

A few weeks before we had Landon, Aaron and I had some fun painting my belly. After all, it was getting to be a pretty large canvas! We thought it would be fun to do this again for Reid. It was neat to have Landon be a part of our painting this time!

Buddies

We had a fun time playing with some friends this morning (Happy Birthday Max!). I was so busy chatting that I didn't take many pictures. :( However, I did manage to get a picture of these two boys right before we left. I found a picture of them from January 2008 and thought it was fun to compare! Man, they grow fast! Aren't they little heart-breakers?
