Six Months

Half a year...how can it be that he's already this old? Didn't we just find out we were pregnant last week? This sweet little monkey is really growing up! He is over his colic phase and we couldn't be happier! He is still on meds for reflux but hopefully we can stop those sometime soon. At his 6 month check-up Micah weighed 14 lbs. 12.5 oz and was 26 inches tall. He has started on cereal and just tried avocado today. He doesn't seem to enjoy eating from a spoon and much prefers a bottle, but hopefully he will do better over time. He is still wearing 3-6 and 6 month clothing and size 2 diapers. It seems that he might favor his biggest brothers physique and be a bit scrawny. Reid was our chunky one but has thinned out a lot over the last year. Micah is very touchy-feely and tries to grab anything he can! He also loves to chew on anything he can get his mouth on. His big brothers can always make him laugh (and they do MANY times a day!). He still needs a good bit of support while sitting but he doesn't want to miss anything! He loves his paci. He is mostly a tummy sleeper but we've caught him sleeping on his back a few times recently. He is sleeping from around 9pm-7am (ish) and takes 2-3 naps a day. He has the cutest little giggle and I can tell he will have the sweetest little voice once he starts babbling! We're so in love with this sweet little red-headed monkey and are thankful that he is doing so well!
