10 Things I Love About My Daddy!

5. He helps Mommy out A LOT
6. He makes sure I know that he loves me
7. He's gentle and sweet
8. He always lets me tag along when he runs errands

Two quotes come to mind when I think about how Aaron fills his role as a father....

Aaron does this with such grace. I'm amazed at how patient and loving he is with me sometimes. God has blessed me with a man of great integrity and a gentle spirit. He has a self-less love for me and Landon (and Reid) that is shown daily through his actions. This brings me to the second quote.

2. "He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." -Clarence Budington Kelland

Aaron is a man, father and husband of his word. His actions show his family his true commitment and love for them. Aaron demonstrates a Christ-like love to his family. He is not only Landon and Reid's father, but more importantly, he's their Daddy!

Who wouldn't be proud to be married to a man like that! I love you, Aaron, and I thank you for the way you take care of me and our boys. ~Haley

Belly Painting ~ Part II

A few weeks before we had Landon, Aaron and I had some fun painting my belly. After all, it was getting to be a pretty large canvas! We thought it would be fun to do this again for Reid. It was neat to have Landon be a part of our painting this time!

Buddies

We had a fun time playing with some friends this morning (Happy Birthday Max!). I was so busy chatting that I didn't take many pictures. :( However, I did manage to get a picture of these two boys right before we left. I found a picture of them from January 2008 and thought it was fun to compare! Man, they grow fast! Aren't they little heart-breakers?

Movin' On Up

Sadly, Landon's froggy pool is no longer with us. I went to get it out the other morning for him to play in and it had a hole in it. :( But, that just means we get to move on to a bigger boy pool....and we did just that! I know you haven't seen near enough pictures of our sweet boy outside and playing in the water! But, since it's his favorite place to be, it's hard not to have a ton of pictures! I just thought this was a pretty cool little pool! ($30 @ Walmart)

Reid Update

I am now 32 weeks along, and officially "uncomfortable" and getting closer to "miserable" every day. We had a sonogram yesterday to check out our little boy's progress. He apparently is a big fella (already weighing over 5 lbs.) and will probably surpass his big brother's birth weight (7 lbs. 11 oz.). I'm predicting he'll be around 8 1/2 lbs. but I guess we'll see! Like Landon, his head is in the 90th percentile. Thank goodness for that planned c-section! We have about 6 1/2 weeks to go, unless he decides he's ready to come sooner....once again, like his brother! Only time will tell!
