I can't believe this little angel has been with us for 9 whole months now! We will head to the doctor on Monday for his 9 month check-up, however, I did put him on our scale tonight sans clothes and diaper and he was 19 lbs! Reid is doing so much these days! He loves to sit in the playroom and play with his big brother. He still only has 2 teeth but is doing quite well with several table food items including crackers and bananas. He's just recently started grabbing for the spoon when I feed him so, to avoid extra messes, he gets his own to play with and chew on during meal time. While he is still not pulling up yet, he loves to stand (with assistance, ofcourse). His best bud is Landon and they get along so well already. Landon will bring him toys, help him with his paci and feed him snacks. Just over the last few days, he has also started teaching Reid how to clap. It's so sweet to watch Reid try to mimic his brother. It's been amazing to see these two boy's different personalities. Landon is a little more laid back than Reid. Even as a baby, Landon has never shown much emotion on his face. It's a near impossible task to get the boy to smile. But, we can always tell when he's having a good time! Reid is lovingly called my little spitfire or firecracker because he is much more expressive...whether he's happy or mad! I've really come to appreciate these differences in the boys and can't wait to learn more about them! ~~~~
Landon was around this age when I started itching for another sweet baby. Don't worry, I'm not quite there yet! But, maybe it's almost time to start trying for a girl...
