In true fashion of the males in the McGrew family, Reid arrived totally off schedule and unannounced. For those who haven't been caught up yet, Haley had recently started dealing with high blood pressure issues. Because her BP kept creeping up, the risk of keeping her pregnant outweighed the risk of delivering Reid early. So, Thursday night we were off to the operating room. Several minutes later, a screaming baby boy emerged. He was born on July 9, 2009 at 9:20 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Thankfully, he is absolutely healthy in spite of arriving a month early. The recovery has been pretty tough on Haley and the meds they gave her have left her feeling like she's been hit by a freight train.
Thank you to all who have been praying for us and taking such good care of us.

Yeah for July 9th babies!!! That's a good day...Carson's birthday. Glad to hear Reid is doing well and we pray that Haley recovers quickly.
