Celebrating Love

We celebrated Valentine's on the 13th this year...not real sure why...just kind of happened that way. This was mine and Aaron's 5th Valentine's together. We never like to go out on Valentine's Day since it's usually so busy, so we were able to go to Kyoto for dinner tonight while my mom stayed with the boys. After dinner, we took a romantic stroll through JC Penny's where I bought a couple pair of PJ bottoms and found a new sleeper for Reid. We were home before 7:oo p.m. That's just how we roll. We came home and opened our gifts to one another and to the boys. The boys got some fun new toys and Landon even got some "canny" to munch on. Aaron bought me some beautiful flowers and a monogrammed jewelry box.

My parents used to get us sweet gifts and cards for Valentine's Day. This is one thing that I'm looking forward to doing for my kids on special holidays! Call me sentimental, but this is one of the many cards they gave me that I've kept all these years! Unfortunately it wasn't dated, but I'm thinking I was pretty young!
